WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHER AWARDS SCHEMES IN THE INDUSTRY?

Unlike other awards, we are a 'free to join' trade awards.
this means we offer EVERYONE a chance to enter without paying a membership fee!!! many other awards ceremonies are exclusively available to the small number of paid trade association members, which limits the pool of skill and accolade. winning this awards is also a huge kudos for entrants, as it will be entirely judged by votes, placed on a poll system with all of our 9000 ,embers being able to decide the final winners. other trade associations judge and decide winners based on private selection which can sometimes seem unfair or open to favouritism. HOW TO ENTER THE AWARDS EVENT
To submit your job, we will need you to email us, and include the following details.
Please note, you must be a member of the master roofers uk facebook page to be considered for entry 1. Photos of the project. 2. Vague Address of the project. (this is so we can add some descriptive info about the entry) 3. Company name or sole trader name who carried out the work. 4. A brief description of the work carried out. (This can be simple like a list of materials and what you did, or indepth and discriptive if you prefer) Entrants work must be from the june 2018 onwards. The work you submit can be anything from a small lead flashing to a 10,000m2 roof. Everyone is welcome to participate!!! From employees within a firm (your boss or company must also be credited), to self employed lads all the way through to large companies. Finally, if the work you submit fails to comply with British standards or we feel the standard of workmanship is not suitable, we may omit your entry from the awards process. if we make this decision, we will inform you that this decision has been made, and you will have the opportunity to explain the technical details of the work, or alternatively, submit a different job for consideration. WILL THERE BE PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS?You will recieve a certificate, a sticker for your van/vans with a winner emblum and also an official winners emblum badge sent in pdf form to you, which you can add to any letter heads and company branding that you have.
We will also be handing out lots of extra goodies for the prize winners including, vouchers, tools and lots of other bits and bobs. (UPDATE) we now have over £1500 worth of prizes to share between the 6 categories and hopefully a bigger prize pot to come!!! |
